What the service is, exactly.
Everything a route will run by: where your bags go out, what we take, what it costs, and what happens when something goes wrong.

The pickup spot
Your pickup spot is your driveway, the bottom step, or somewhere else on your own property that a driver can reach without going through a door. You show us once, and that is the spot from then on.
Once your road’s route is running, tied bags left there by 7 a.m. on your days will be collected. There is no cart to buy, nothing to wheel anywhere, and nothing to be home for.
Your days are set when your area’s route is confirmed, and you are told them before anything starts. We don’t publish days in advance — a route that isn’t built yet can’t promise one.
Plans and bags
One price a month, set by how often we come and how many bags go out. Bags are priced separately from pickups.
- Island Weekly1 pickup a week$59/mo, one bag
- Island 2×Recommended2 pickups a week$79/mo, one bag
- Island 3×3 pickups a week$109/mo, one bag
The step from Island Weekly to Island 2× is $20 a month for double the service, which is why 2× is the one we recommend.
Every extra bag is $8 a month per weekly pickup — so a second bag is $16 a month on 2× and $24 a month on 3×. Island Weekly is a one-bag plan, deliberately: it is a genuine light-household plan, and a household that needs more room belongs on 2× rather than on a weekly plan carrying three bags.
Founding rates are lower than the prices above and are shown on your own area’s page. See every corridor.
What we don’t take
Household trash in tied bags, and that is the whole service. Bags must be tied, not leaking, and 30 lb or less; a 13- or 30-gallon bag is standard. These do not go in a bag and cannot ride on a residential route:
- Bulky items and furniture
- Appliances
- Tires
- Batteries
- Electronics
- Paint
- Oil
- Gas cylinders
- Construction debris
- Medical waste
- Liquids and grease
- Yard waste
- Household chemicals (pool, garden, cleaning)
- Hot ashes or coals
- Dead animals
- Ammunition or fireworks
Once your road’s route is running, if one of these is at your spot it will be left there, and you will get a message telling you what it was and why. Nobody will knock or argue, and nothing will be charged for it.
Bulky pickup (furniture or an appliance) may be added later and has no price yet. Ask us on the support page if you want it.
Extra bags at your pickup spot
Once your road’s route is running, the driver will take what is out. An extra bag will be collected and logged, and nothing will be said about it at the curb — a pickup spot is not a place to have a conversation about a subscription.
On the third logged extra bag in a rolling month, you will get a message with the exact price of the upgrade — another bag on 2× or 3×, or a move up from Island Weekly, which is one bag only — and a link to do it. That is the whole enforcement. You are never billed per event, because a subscription that quietly varies is not a subscription.
Weather and holidays
Once your road’s route is running, weather or a holiday will sometimes move a route day. When a day moves, you will get a message before it moves — not after your bags have been sitting out.
Where it goes
Once your route runs, bags leave your road on the truck and go for disposal — never to a public bin site, never stored at anybody's house.
A route is built around disposal hours as well as your road.
Month to month
No contract, no equipment to return, no sign-up fee. Cancel any time from your own page and your stop will come off the route at once, with billing stopped before your next payment. You can also message us, and we will cancel it for you.
Claiming a spot takes no card.
The founding rate
The first 60 households on each corridor get the founding rate, locked for 12 months from that area's first pickup. It covers the one-bag price on any plan; extra bags are never discounted.
Once a corridor’s founding spots are gone, new households on that road join at the standard rate above.
Villas, rentals and condo buildings
A villa, a short-term rental or a condo building gets its own plan: scheduled pickups and turnover pickups for a villa, one price per unit for a building. Ask for a written quote and it comes back priced from your property’s own details.

Pick your road, fill in one short form, and your spot is held. No card, no contract.
